Our mission is to Enlighten, Inspire, and Empower families to meet and exceed the goals they set for their children. We aspire to be an incubator for excellence in every aspect of the developmental process. We see ourselves as an active partner in your child's success story!

We provide a family-centered, individualized approach to therapy services in natural environments that are diverse and creative to encourage generalization of developed skills across all contexts that the family encounters. Our team strives to be the most highly educated and dynamic group of therapists that we can be so that our clients are prepared for anything they may face in their daily lives. We maintain "all hands on deck" with parents, caregivers, educators, physicians, specialists, and other therapy practitioners to provide the most holistic treatment experience possible. To educate and support the progress of the entire family is our goal!

Meet The Team

Driven by her passion to assist and empower children and families through occupational therapy, Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Mood founded Carolina Therapy Solutions for Kids (CTS4K) in 2017. Kim earned an undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina and holds a master’s of science in occupational therapy from Howard University. Since its inception, Kim and the CTS4K team have served more than 250 families in York County, with plans to expand their premier offerings of in-home and clinic-based therapy services farther into the community.

Kayla Mendonca joined CTS4K as operations manager in 2021. She hails from Boston, Massachusetts and has a keen sense of her purpose in life – to contribute to the world in such a way that it improves life for those living with disadvantages. Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Boston College, a master’s of education in Curriculum & Instruction from Boston University, and a master of the arts in school administration from Gardner-Webb University. She was previously a teacher and principal, and now oversees all aspects of the CTS4K business, where she manages daily operations and maximizes the impact of therapy and partnerships for families.

As the mother of a child with special needs and an experienced educator, Kayla is thrilled to also serve as a special education advocate for parents and guardians.

Terrell Hutchinson, senior operations manager, hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina and brings a decade of management experience in health and human services to CTS4K. A strong leader, Terrell is passionate about making a positive impact on others and is committed to teamwork.

Also a proud alum of Northwestern High School, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Phoenix, Terrell, loves spending time with his wife and two children. His life motto?:
“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'”

Anna Grosschmidt, communications and engagement manager, is a former elementary school teacher and lifelong advocate for neurodivergent individuals who loves her husband and their two sons with all her heart. In fact, her eldest son was one of CTS4K’s first clients! As communications and engagement manager, Anna manages practice communications from its digital presence to internal affairs. She is responsible for stewarding CTS4K’s community partnerships. She runs two support groups for families with special-needs loved ones, and works with local businesses to create sensory-friendly environments for all who live in the community.

Additionally, Anna serves as a board member for the Council on Consumer Affairs (COCA) with the University of South Carolina’s Center for Disability Resources.

 Amanda Brown, occupational therapist, has extensive pediatrics experience as a gymnastics coach and provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and occupational therapy (OT) services. Amanda, a Massachusetts native, is proud to now call Rock Hill home.
Additional facts about Amanda: Purple is her favorite color, elephants are her favorite animals, and her favorite food is cheese pizza.

Heather Pollnow, certified occupational therapy assistant and pre-k development coordinator, has more than 25 years working with children. She credits her passion to help children reach successful therapeutic outcomes to a personal connection to the field – her son, who needed services himself. Heather, who hails from the greater Chicago area, holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and an associate of applied science degree in occupational therapy. 

In her spare time, Heather enjoys traveling with family and friends, and squeezing in as many coffee dates as possible.

Madelinn (Maddie) Morrison, certified occupational therapy assistant, is passionate about her work with children. She holds an associate of applied science degree in occupational therapy from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Winthrop University. Maddie brings her enthusiasm and a will to see clients succeed to her role.
When she’s not working, Maddie spends quality time with her friends and family, and getting tons of cuddles from her pup.

Kwesida Rhoney, native of Lancaster, South Carolina,  is the executive assistant to CEO Kim Mood. In this role, she manages administrative tasks for the CEO including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and more. She holds degrees in business management from York Technical College and Brookstone College for Business Management. 
Monique has over 20 years of customer care experience, has a passion for helping others, and enjoys providing top-notch service in all she does.

 As the sister of the CEO, Porsha  Reese, administrative assistant, is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who was raised in Lancaster, South Carolina. A loving wife, and mom of six (3 boys and 3 girls), Porsha is an experienced customer service manager who brings a strong family connection to CTS4K. With a diverse background in customer service, management, and retail, she provides valuable support to the team.
She also enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, playing softball, cooking, and running a catering business with her mother.
